Gulf Islands Tall Ship Tour 2017

Date - Nov. 2 to 7, 2017
This is to inform you of a change to the November mid-term trip previously advertised on the website as a west coast experience based in Tofino. We have recently managed to secure the tall ship “Maple Leaf” a sailing vessel, fully crewed by expert staff for a trip around the Gulf Islands from November 2nd to 7th. The program aboard will include learning to sail, navigate and work as part of a team. There is a naturalist aboard who will help students explore the Gulf Islands and wildlife that includes marine mammals and intertidal ecosystems. Maple Leaf Adventures is a world class organization run by Brentwood alumni Kevin Smith. He has won numerous awards for his ecotourism experiences and is pleased to also offer educational trips for youth at a much reduced rate of approximately $1200 per person dependent on numbers. Places are limited to 12 students and a deposit will be required to secure a spot.
