Spring Break Meals Spring Break Meals (1)
Last week was a really busy week with students and service trips returning from Spring Break. Clearly everyone came back rested and ready to go. We want to thank everybody for their efforts on Charity Work Day which was a resounding success with over $16,000 raised for local charities. You can see photos of the day here: http://bit.ly/25H8lKJ

There is a lot going on this week including, Girls Island Rugby 7's Championships, The Chamber of Commerce Black Tie Awards, and English Provincial Exams.

Spring Awakening Concert - From Phil Newns

Just a note of thank you to our choirs, string ensemble, guitar ensemble, and our directors, Tristan Clausen and Scott McGill for a flawless night of music. Together we rasied over $500, which will go towards helping the local Mill Bay food bank and Syrian refugees in Canada. Thanks also to St. John's for giving us this opportunity to perform. For all of you who gave up your Sunday night, you are truly appreciated.

SCOTT’S SAFETY TIP OF THE WEEK - Regatta

Regatta is soon approaching which means a busy schedule, long hours and for many of us different duties.
If you’re a crew leader, make sure you orientate your new or young worker (student and staff alike):
  • When and where to be;
  • Whom to report to;
  • Potential hazards;
  • Emergency contacts
If you’re a worker and being asked to do a job that you are not familiar with:
  • Ask questions
  • Be aware of your surrounding
  • Report any unsafe conditions or acts
Lets make this Regatta is another success and keep staff, student and guests safety at the top of everyones priority.
