Our eight year-old daughter attended “Broadway at Brentwood” musical theatre summer camp.  It was a full five days of singing, dancing, acting and FUN!  At the end of each day, it was clear that the wonderful staff at the camp had worked so hard with the kids… the lines, the songs and the moves were unbelievable.  There were also rave reports daily of the great meals provided by the College! Shay had such a awesome time exploring musical theatre and I think that Director, Tilly Lorence, offered the kids a perfect balance of disciplined practice and fun. The show at the end of the camp was AMAZING! I could not believe that the staff were able to create something so detailed and magical in such a short time! The camp instilled a sense of confidence and adventure in our daughter and we cannot wait to see the performance DVD to experience it all again and to share it with family!”-
Just wanted to let you know that Jenna is absolutely having the time of her life at musical theatre camp.  I’ve never heard her so excited about singing, dancing, etc.  In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever heard her so excited about anything quite like this
Grace and Reuben have loved their experience this week.  Their mom says they sing the songs all the way home in the car, talk about it and nothing else over dinner, and go to bed reading their scripts in bed and wake up reading them in the morning.  I can’t wait to see the show tomorrow.  Thanks for your part in making  it a great week for them
Chantelle LOVES this camp. I am definitely signing her up for more theatre camps, this is her first one and she’s having a ball
Dear Tilly & Phil: At the beginning of the week it was mentioned at registration, that we were to prepare ourselves, to be amazed by the end of the week?!  Without even seeing the end results, we are blown away already.  This has been far more than a camp, it’s an experience and one that this group of kids, won’t forget.  It’s also very evident, that you both put your heart and soul into what you do and we are truly thankful to you for that.  Olivia is bursting with enthusiasm, practicing and stretching every night from the moment she’s home until bedtime.  She’s also gushing with pride at how talented you both are and we have enjoyed listening to reenact the day’s events.  I know already that Friday will be spectacular, and can’t wait to see the performance.  Our only disappointment is, this week… will have to end. Thank you both so much. What a team!
Jake enthusiastically told me as many details of the camp he could remember and was singing and dancing in our kitchen for days after. He also says, when asked if he’d like to do it again, “oh yeah, definitely next summer. Oh yeah!” You must be wonderful teachers!
